First heavy lifting
So this is my 3rd week of PT and I have seen a lot of improvements. One issue I am still having is chest and shoulder exercises. My full ROM is still not there but I can tell I am still moving in the right direction.
This past Tuesday the 21st was my first real test. Leaving work, I was so angry that I knew the only way to release the anger was to make some iron my bitch. I just loaded up the bar and busted out 4sets of 5 reps of 500lbs for deadlifts.
It felt awesome 1) to be lifting heavy but 2) it didn't hurt. Now I know that I am almost there. Still need to recover for certain exercises, but if an all carrying comp comes up, I might have to jump in early.
June 3rd is my follow up appt with my orthopedic so I am hoping I get cleared and I have enough ROM to stop going to PT. We'll see what happens.
